In 2014 I started my journey in education as a 4th grade IRR teacher. I quickly gained a reputation for having excellent rapport with parents and on time paperwork. During my 8 career in education I served as an elementary IRR teacher, middle grades math IRR teacher, 504/SST Support Specialist, and Administrator. I have trained hundreds to utilize virtual interventions and I've managed over 500+ caseloads in my career without ever holding a late meeting. Simply put, I'm good.
As an advocate for you and your child I will do my best to assist you with getting the right services from their public school. This includes listening to your needs, reviewing documentation from any resources you can provide, scheduling and attending meetings with you and school staff. I can also review IEPs, 504 plans, SST meeting minutes and other documents with you in more detail so you feel prepared for your next meeting. Parent advocates are not psychologists, lawyers, or doctors and cannot advise you as such.
"She was great. She asked questions. She went over everything before meetings and after. She let the school know she knew her stuff and laws. She helped me get my son the help he needed." ~Brandi H.
